Derek Heckman, Field Support Representative - Kersey, CO
Derek was raised on a family farm in McClave, Colorado. He found passion for agriculture by working on the farm and being involved in FFA throughout high school. Derek attended Iowa State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Horticulture. After graduating college, Derek went to work for Ag-leader, an industry recognized precision-ag hardware/software provider. At Ag-Leader he worked with customers setting up variable rate seed and fertilizer applications as well as analyzing field data and troubleshooting software issues. This experience has equipped Derek with a very high level of customer service skills and we are confident that you will find value in working with him on your farm. Derek is excited to be back in Colorado and working with Centennial Ag Supply.
Monte Blomstrom, Operations Manager - Yuma, CO
Monte was born and raised in Yuma, Colorado where his family had a small cattle and quarter horse ranch. Monte continues to operate a small cattle operation south of Yuma with his wife Taryn and son Austin. He managed a landscape company in Yuma for eight years before transitioning into the Ag industry. He has spent the last 2 years in agronomy sales and operations leading a team of 2 applicators and several delivery drivers. He has held a Qualified Supervisors License in Ag, and Turf from the Colorado Department of Ag since 2006. His knowledge of fertility and crop protection products, as well as experience in a row machine and a dry spreader gives him the skills needed to lead the team in Yuma to successfully service our growers.
